With the release of Ubuntu 20.10 Groovy Gorilla, all official Ubuntu 20.10 based fragrances are now available for download.

The seven official versions of Ubuntu 20.10 are now available with the latest versions and .iso images and are waiting for you – Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE and Ubuntu Studio – 20.10.

They are all built on the solid foundation of Ubuntu 20.10, and key features and packages are available to everyone.

Here I have summarized the features and updates of all official variants of Ubuntu 20.10. So you can choose to upgrade/install your favorite scent of Ubuntu 20.10 or not.

Kubuntu 20.10

Kubuntu 20.10 includes the KDE plasma 5.19.5 desktop environment. KDE plasma 5.19 brings many improvements without sacrificing performance.

It also comes with Qt 5.14.2, Firefox 81 as the default web browser. LibreOffice 7.0 is pre-installed with all modules of the office suite. The standard Cantata music player is located on Elisa 20.08.1.

Beautiful Latte-Doc (best Doc in the world!) updated to version 0.9.10. Other application updates are Crita 4.3.0, Kdevelop 5.5.2, KDEConnect 20.08.1.

Lubuntu 20.10

Lubuntu desktop computers 20.10

The super light dispenser Lubuntu also offers Lubuntu 20.10 based on Groovy Gorilla. This distribution is ideal for devices and lighting systems with low power consumption, while being stable on Ubuntu.

Lubuntu 20.10 is based on LXQt 0.15.0 with support for Qt 5.14.2 The updated application stack includes – Firefox 81.0.2, LibreOffice 7.0.2, VLC 3.x, Trojitá 0.7 email client.

Xubuntu 20.10

I have yet to discover the changes in the Xubuntu 20.10 protocol. However, Xubuntu 20.10 has the same version of Xfce 4.14 for desktop systems. Xfce 4.16 is still in the development phase, so it has not been activated. At the same time you can see the usual updates of the application in this version.
